ADVNC VIRGINIA BOYS REGION
What: ADVNC Virginia Tryouts for the Fall 2025 & Summer 2026 seasons. Players will be selected for the full year roster.
The fall season will run from early September through late November, 2025. The summer season will run from late May through end of June, 2026.
Who: High School graduation classes of 2028 (rising 10th graders) through 2035+ (rising 3rd graders).
Where: Norfolk Academy, 1585 Wesleyan Dr., Norfolk, VA
When: Saturday, June 28, 2025
Times:
2032, 2033, 2034, 2035: 9:00AM - 10:30AM
2030, 2031: 11:00AM - 12:30PM
2028, 2029: 1:00PM - 2:30PM
Tryout Price: $30
THIS TRYOUT IS FOR BOTH NEW AND RETURNING PLAYERS
If you cannot make the June 28 tryout, please register and email ADVNC VA Director Ryan Tucker (ryan@advnclacrosse.com) to coordinate a makeup evaluation.
ADVNC GIRLS NDP TRYOUTS FOR FALL/WINTER OF 2025
Please note: ADVNC NDP will hold two separate tryouts to accommodate players' tournament schedules, one in Oregon and one in California. The Oregon tryout will occur Monday 7/21 after the Oregon Lacrosse Classic in Bend, OR. The California tryout will occur Wednesday 7/23 in San Rafael, CA.
Players may choose to attend either/both tryouts.

2029, 2030, & 2031: 4:00PM - 6:00PM
2026, 2027, 2028: 6:30PM - 8:30PM

Select Teams are formed by players’ High School graduation year, starting at the 10U level going up to High School Seniors.

Chris Rotelli serves as on-field coach at ADVNC in addition to being the Founder & CEO.
ADVNC was founded in 2011 by Chris Rotelli. Rotelli is one of the best lacrosse players of all time. A native of Rhode Island, Rotelli played for Lacrosse Hall of Famer, Dom Starsia for four seasons at the University of Virginia. Rotelli won the ‘03 Tewaaraton Award, given to the best player in college lacrosse. That same year, he led UVa to a National Championship, and was the #1 overall pick in the MLL Draft. Rotelli had an illustrious pro career before deciding to coach and mentor young players full-time.
Rotelli remains the CEO of ADVNC Lacrosse and runs the day-to-day operations of the club. In addition to leading ADVNC, Rotelli is also the Head Coach at Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton, CA where he has led the Gators to numerous championships.
Rotell (#25), helped lead the UVa Cavaliers to the ‘03 National Championship. He won the Tewaaraton Award that same season, and earned ACC Male Athlete of the Year honors as well.
Rotelli was a 4-time MLL All-Star.
