ALL Players, new and returning, must register for The ADVNC Sonoma/Napa regional tryouts for the 2026 season. Rosters will be selected for the whole 2026 year – Summer, Fall, and Winter seasons.

SAN FRANCISCO REGION SUPPLEMENTAL TRYOUTS
These tryouts are for NEW PLAYERS who want to play on our regional travel teams in the Summer of 2026 & Fall/Winter of 2026-2027 seasons.
Who: Boys players from the High school graduating classes of 2027 through 2037
Where: Menlo-Atherton High School in Atherton, CA.
When: Sunday, May 17th, 2026
Detailed Tryout Schedule (by Graduating Year):
2027 Grad Year: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on the Stadium Field.
2028 Grad Year: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on the Upper Turf Field.
2029 Grad Year: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on the Upper Turf Field.
2030 Grad Year: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on the Stadium Field.
2031 Grad Year: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on the Stadium Field.
2032 Grad Year: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM on the Upper Turf Field.
2033 Grad Year: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on the Upper Turf Field.
2034, 2035, 2036, & 2037 Grad Year (10U): 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on the Upper Turf Field.

Chris Rotelli serves as on-field coach at ADVNC in addition to being the Founder & CEO.
ADVNC was founded in 2011 by Chris Rotelli. Rotelli is one of the best lacrosse players of all time. A native of Rhode Island, Rotelli played for Lacrosse Hall of Famer, Dom Starsia for four seasons at the University of Virginia. Rotelli won the ‘03 Tewaaraton Award, given to the best player in college lacrosse. That same year, he led UVa to a National Championship, and was the #1 overall pick in the MLL Draft. Rotelli had an illustrious pro career before deciding to coach and mentor young players full-time.
Rotelli remains the CEO of ADVNC Lacrosse and runs the day-to-day operations of the club. In addition to leading ADVNC, Rotelli is also the Head Coach at Sacred Heart Prep in Atherton, CA where he has led the Gators to numerous championships.
Rotell (#25), helped lead the UVa Cavaliers to the ‘03 National Championship. He won the Tewaaraton Award that same season, and earned ACC Male Athlete of the Year honors as well.
Rotelli was a 4-time MLL All-Star.
